The name “Chabad Lubavitch”:

• Chabad - is a Hebrew acronym for: wisdom (Chachmah), comprehension (Binah), knowledge (Da’at).
• Lubavitch - means: brotherly love, (which is the name of the town where the movement was based out of, for more than a century, Located in White Russia)
